These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of our website located at www.carvininspection.com (“Site”) and form a binding contractual agreement between you, the user of the Site, and us, Car Vin Inspection USA LTD.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, govern your relationship with us in connection with the Car Vin Inspection website and any online services received through this Site. For that reason, these Terms are important, and you should read them carefully.

By using this Site, you acknowledge and agree that you have had sufficient opportunity to read and understand these Terms, and you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this Site.

The terms “carvininspection.com”, “Car Vin Inspection”, “us”, “our”, or “we” refer to Car Vin Inspection USA LTD, the owner of the website. The terms “you”, “user”, “buyer”, or “your” refer to the website user.

1. Role of Car Vin Inspection

(a) Online Information Service

Car Vin Inspection provides an online information service that extracts and compiles important vehicle information from data obtained from the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

(b) Vehicle Reports

We can provide you with vehicle reports that outline vehicle history, registration information, and any values or appraisals of a vehicle. Car Vin Inspection will send your vehicle report to your nominated email address.

(c) Licence to Use the Site

Car Vin Inspection grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable licence to use this Site and our online services for personal or business purposes, provided that you read and accept these Terms and Conditions.

2. Role of User

You acknowledge and agree that:

(a) General Information Only

All information we provide is provided in good faith. You accept that any information provided by us is general information and is not intended to be advice.

Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It is your responsibility to ensure that any products, services, or information available through this Site and through our reports meet your requirements.

(b) Third-Party Data Sources

We derive our data and information from sources that we believe to be accurate and up to date. Information, records, and/or data obtained from NMVTIS and NHTSA are third-party information.

Neither we nor any third parties associated with our Site provide any warranty or guarantee as to the performance, accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this Site for any particular purpose.

You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain mistakes, inaccuracies, or errors, and to the extent permitted by law, we expressly exclude any liability.

(c) Report Limitations

Our reports are based on information obtained from third-party sources and depend on information available from those third parties. Therefore, at times, we may not have the complete history of a vehicle in a report.

You acknowledge and agree that Car Vin Inspection will not be liable to refund any fee paid if the report in question does not provide the full history of the vehicle.

(d) Lawful Use

You may only use this website for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with the nature and purpose of the Site. You agree that any unauthorized use of the Site may be a criminal offence and/or give rise to a claim for damages.

3. Refund Policy

(a) Limited Refund Liability

You acknowledge and agree that we have limited liability in relation to refunding any fees paid.

(b) Correct Information Required

We have no obligation to provide you with a vehicle history report until you have provided Car Vin Inspection with the correct Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), registration details, and correct payment details to enable us to process your order.

(c) Processing Error or Failure

Car Vin Inspection may provide you with a refund if a processing error or failure occurs on our Site. You can request a refund by sending an email to sales@carvininspection.com and providing the email address, VIN number or registration number used for your order, and the order date and time.

(d) Incorrect VIN or Registration Number

Please ensure that you provide the correct VIN or registration number, as we cannot provide refunds for incorrect information submitted by you.

If you provide an incorrect VIN or registration number, this may result in a report being generated with no records available or a report for a different vehicle. You will be responsible for the cost of that report.

(e) Incorrect Email Address

Please ensure that you provide the correct email address. No refunds will be given for providing Car Vin Inspection USA LTD with an incorrect email address.

4. Exclusion of Warranties and Liabilities

(1) Losses and Damages

To the full extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability in respect of loss of data, interruption of business, or any consequential or incidental damages.

(2) Warranties and Representations

To the full extent permitted by law, we exclude all representations, warranties, or terms, whether express or implied, other than those expressly set out in these Terms.

(3) Applicable Legislation

These Terms are to be read subject to any legislation that prohibits or restricts the exclusion, restriction, or modification of any implied warranties, conditions, guarantees, or obligations. If such legislation applies, these Terms will be interpreted in accordance with that legislation.

You acknowledge that all materials displayed on this Site, including without limitation all information, text, materials, graphics, layout, software tools, names, logos, and trademarks, are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws unless expressly indicated otherwise.

All trademarks reproduced on this website that are not the property of, or licensed to us, are acknowledged on this website.
